BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Book a Consultation. All appointments where you are hoping to change the color of your hair REQUIRE a consultation prior to booking.
- Clean Hair. Come with hair that has been washed within 24-48 hours.
- Air Dry. Try to skip blow-drying, flat-ironing, or curling your hair for a day or two before your appointment. We want to work with your hair’s natural state.
- Share Your Regimen. Bring a photo of the hair products you use at home, shampoo and conditioner included.
- Bring Photos. Yes, we actually do want to see your Pinterest inspo pics. Bonus points if you bring us pictures of hair you loved on yourself in the past.
- Hair History. If you’ve had any recent color or chemical treatments, please let us know. Your hair history helps us choose the right products and techniques for your hair.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
- Avoid Washing. Go as long as humanly possible without washing your hair. The recommended minimum amount of time is 48 hours.
- Sun Protection. If you spend a lot of time in direct sunlight, it is recommended to wear a hat or other form of protection.
- Hair Care. Invest in salon quality products to keep your color safe.
- Avoid Heat. Try to go as long as possible without using any hot tools. Once you start using hot tools, use a heat protectant.
- NEVER GO TO BED WITH WET HAIR. We capitalized this because it is the single worst thing you can ever do. It causes a mass amount of breakage and scalp issues.
- Maintenance. Be sure you have your maintenance appointments booked! Trims are most important and need to be booked every 6-8 weeks.
BEFORE YOUR LASH OR BROW APPOINTMENT
- Avoid Makeup. Please come without any eye makeup. This helps us achieve the best results and ensures your skin is clean and fresh.
- Skin Prep. If you have sensitive skin, consider using a gentle exfoliator a day or two prior to your appointment. This helps remove dead skin cells and enhances results.
- No Retinols or Acids. For at least 48 hours before your appointment, avoid using retinols or strong acids on your face to minimize any potential irritation.
- Stay Hydrated. Drink plenty of water! Well-hydrated skin and hair yield better results.
AFTER YOUR LASH OR BROW APPOINTMENT
- Avoid Water or Steam. For the first 24 hours, keep your brows and lashes dry. Avoid swimming, saunas, or heavy sweating to allow the treatment to set properly.
- Skip Makeup. Try to avoid makeup on your brows or lashes for the first 24 hours to let the products fully adhere.
- Gentle Care. When washing your face, use a gentle cleanser and avoid rubbing the brow or lash area. Pat dry instead.
- Moisturize. Use a nourishing oil or serum (like castor oil) on your brows and lashes to keep them hydrated and healthy. Ask us for recommendations!
- Follow Up. Never be afraid to reach out and let us know how the service worked for you!
BEFORE SKINCARE OR SUGARING APPOINTMENTS
- Clean Skin. If possible, arrive with a clean face free of makeup. This helps us assess your skin and get started right away.
- Avoid Exfoliation. Skip any strong exfoliating treatments or masks for at least 48 hours prior. We want to avoid any irritation before your facial.
- Sun Protection. If you’ve been in the sun, let us know! We can adjust the treatment accordingly to protect your skin.
- Stay Hydrated. Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin responds better to treatment!
AFTER YOUR SKINCARE AND SUGARING APPOINTMENT
- Avoid Makeup. For at least 24 hours post-facial, try to avoid wearing makeup. This allows your skin to breathe and absorb the benefits of the treatment.
- Gentle Cleansing. Use a mild cleanser for the first few days. Avoid scrubs or exfoliants that could irritate your skin.
- Moisturize. Keep your skin hydrated! Use a gentle moisturizer or any recommended products to maintain that glow.
- Sun Protection. Always apply sunscreen if you’re going outdoors, especially after a facial. Your skin may be more sensitive to the sun.
- Listen to Your Skin. If you notice any unusual reactions or discomfort, please reach out. We’re here to ensure your skin stays happy and healthy!
BEFORE YOUR SUGARING APPOINTMENT
Hair Length: Make sure your hair is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch long for the best results. This typically means waiting at least two weeks after shaving.
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area a day or two before your appointment. This helps remove dead skin cells and prepares your skin for sugaring.
Avoid Lotions: On the day of your appointment, please avoid using any lotions, oils, or creams on the area to be sugared. Clean, dry skin allows for better adhesion.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin is more pliable and can make the process easier.
Pain Management: If you’re concerned about discomfort, consider taking an over-the-counter pain reliever about 30 minutes before your appointment.
AFTER YOUR SUGARING APPOINTMENT
Avoid Heat: For the first 24 hours, avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense workouts. This helps prevent irritation and allows your skin to calm down.
No Exfoliation: For 48 hours post-sugaring, avoid scrubs and exfoliating products. Your skin may be sensitive, and it’s best to give it a chance to recover.
Moisturize: Keep the area hydrated with a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer. This helps soothe your skin and maintain smoothness.
Sun Protection: Apply sunscreen if you’ll be in the sun, as your skin may be more sensitive after sugaring.
Ingrown Hair Prevention: Start exfoliating gently a few days after your appointment to help prevent ingrown hairs. Regular exfoliation is key!
BEFORE YOUR BODY FACIAL APPOINTMENT
Clean Skin: If possible, arrive with clean skin, free from heavy lotions or oils. This allows us to assess your skin and prepare it for treatment.
Exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the area a day or two prior to your appointment. This helps remove dead skin cells and enhances the effectiveness of the facial.
Avoid Sun Exposure: If you’ve spent time in the sun, please let us know. We want to ensure your treatment is safe and comfortable.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin will respond better to treatment!
AFTER YOUR BODY FACIAL APPOINTMENT
Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, gentle cleanser for the first few days. Avoid harsh scrubs or exfoliants to prevent irritation.
Moisturize: Keep your skin hydrated! Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to maintain softness and hydration.
Sun Protection: Always apply sunscreen if you’ll be outdoors, as your skin may be more sensitive after the facial.
Listen to Your Skin: If you notice any unusual reactions or discomfort, please reach out. We’re here to ensure your skin stays happy and healthy!
